Wim Vandenberghe is an experienced professional in the field of Intelligent Transport Services, currently serving as an Expert in C-ITS and CCAM at Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer since March 2022. As the Founder and Managing Director of RITS++, Wim has led a Belgian consultancy firm specializing in services for public and academic clients since April 2017. Additional roles include Senior Consultant at Kwaraat and Senior Advisor for ITS & CCAM at Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Milieu, both from April 2017 to March 2024, as well as a Senior Advisor for Smart Mobility at imec until December 2023. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Software Architect at Barco and managing projects at Be-Mobile, alongside a significant research background as a Postdoctoral and Doctoral Researcher at iMinds - Ghent University. Wim holds a Ph.D. in Engineering - Computer Science and a Master's in Computer Science, both from Ghent University, complemented by secondary education in Mathematics and Sciences from De La Salle College.
