Stephen Smith is an experienced professional in the field of business intelligence and data analytics, currently serving as the Head of Business Intelligence at Ageas in the UK since August 2016. Prior to this role, Stephen worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as the UK GI Data, Analytics & Architecture Manager, where responsibility included the development and delivery of the Information Management strategy for UK General Insurance. Stephen also held the position of MI & Resource Manager at Old Mutual Investment Group, overseeing the strategy for a significant portfolio of change. With a career that includes extensive roles at Skandia, including PMO & MI Manager and IT Project Manager, as well as experience as an Analyst Programmer, Stephen has developed a robust skill set in management information and analytics.
