Angel Martinez has been working in the steel industry since 2012. Angel began their career at Ameron International as a QC - CWI in 2012. In 2013, they moved to JV Driver Group USA and continued in the same role. In 2019, they transitioned to JV Driver Fabricators as an Operations Manager. In 2020, they moved to Agate, Inc. as a Project Manager. Most recently, they have been employed at Agate Steel, Inc. since 2022 as a Steel Operations Manager.

Angel Martinez completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Centro de Estudios Superiores del Estado de Sonora in 2007. In 2010, they obtained a CWI Certified Welding Inspector certification from the American Welding Society. In 2014, they obtained a CWB Welding Inspector Level II certification from the CWB Group and a CWB Welding Supervisor certification from the same institution.
