Humayoon Helal is a seasoned health and nutrition professional with extensive experience in program management and development across various organizations. Currently serving as the Program Manager for Health & Nutrition at Aga Khan Foundation Canada since April 2022, Humayoon specializes in resource mobilization, fundraising, and managing donor relations, particularly focusing on Afghanistan-related initiatives. Previous roles include Portfolio Manager at Aga Khan Foundation Afghanistan, where responsibilities encompassed program planning, implementation, and budget management, as well as Director of Program Development at HealthNet TPO, leading strategic planning and stakeholder engagement. Additional experience includes positions with Première Urgence Internationale as National Program Coordinator and as Health Management Information System Officer at Ibnsina Public Health Program. Humayoon holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and is currently pursuing a Master's in International Health Care Leadership at McGill University. Educational qualifications include a medical degree from Nangarhar University and a high school diploma from Nangarhar High School.
