Stefan Borgas serves as President and CEO of RHI Magnesita, a leader in the refractory industry since December 2016, guiding efforts towards sustainable solutions for global industries. In addition, Borgas owns borgasadvisory, specializing in consulting for process industries, leadership coaching, and change management since June 2012. Current non-executive roles include Chairman of the Board at AFYREN and previous positions as Non-Executive Director at Sibelco Group and Board Member at Syngenta. Borgas has held senior leadership roles in notable companies including ICL Group, Lonza, and BASF, accumulating extensive experience across various sectors. Education includes a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of St.Gallen and a Vordiplom from Universität des Saarlandes.
