Grace Murney has had a varied work experience. In 2020, they worked as a Photography Supervisor, Project Coordinator, and Administrative Media Coordinator at aftertec, Inc., and as a Photographer at Dan Vaden Automotive. In 2019, they worked as a Photographer for Vacasa, where they photographed vacation rentals in Savannah, GA, Hilton Head, SC, and the surrounding areas. Grace also created virtual tours using Matterport camera technology, edited and arranged images for public listings online, and aided in the acquisition of Wyndham Vacation Rentals in 2020. From 2016 to 2013, Grace worked as a Senior Photographer and Photographer at The Ships Photographer and as a Photographer and Freelance Photographer at Amscan. In 2012, they worked as a Receptionist at Bernstein & Andriulli, and in 2011, they interned at Ladies' Home Journal, where they did image research and stock image searches and contacted owners/PR of the restaurants and facilities described in the travel articles of the magazine. Finally, in 2006, they worked as a Launch Driver at Dodson Boatyard.

Grace Murney received their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008-2012. Grace then went on to receive their Master's Degree in Photography from the University for the Creative Arts in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they attended Stonington High School from 2004-2008.
