Elahni Ocean is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as a Human Resources Generalist at the African American Planning Commission, Inc. since April 2022, and as a Human Resources Specialist with the Army National Guard since June 2019, where responsibilities include career development support for Soldiers. Previously, Elahni worked as a Family Case Manager at Acacia Network, managing caseloads for numerous families and collaborating with public agencies. Additional experience includes a role as a Junior Analyst at Oscar Health Insurance, where Elahni developed processes to enhance member experience, and as a Client Account Representative at Homejoy, focusing on customer account management. Elahni is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations at CUNY School of Professional Studies and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Resources Management at Excelsior University. Previous education includes a degree in Human Services from Borough of Manhattan Community College.
