Ruby Thakur has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ruby is currently working as a Senior Business Development Manager at AffordPlan since February 2021. From April 2019 to May 2020, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Manager Corporate Sales at Apollo Clinic from September 2016 to February 2019. From August 2013 to August 2016, they worked as a Brand Manager at MaxCure Hospitals. Their early career included a role as a Senior Counseller at IGET from May 2010 to June 2011.

Ruby Thakur completed their 10th grade education at St. Teresa's girls school from 1998 to 2004, with a focus on Economics. Ruby later pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a specialization in Marketing at the Institute of Public Enterprise from 2011 to 2013.
