With a diverse background in engineering and healthcare management, they transitioned from project engineering to a career in medicine after earning a medical degree. Dr. Averitte has over 20 years of experience in healthcare delivery, emphasizing high standards of care and research in skin cancer. They also founded the Arizona Skin Cancer Foundation to support education and treatment for skin cancer patients. Currently, Dr. Averitte holds academic positions at The University of Toledo, University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix, and TGen.
