Paulo Mestre is an experienced project management professional with a diverse background in construction and consultancy. Currently serving as a Project Manager at afaplan since March 2023, Paulo previously held freelance management and consultancy roles from January 2022 to February 2023. Prior to that, Paulo was the Head of Contract Management at NORFER - Construções e Metalomecânica SA and a Senior Construction Project Manager at Wacouche, notable for managing the requalification of the Núcleo Antigo da Figueira da Foz. With a strong foundation as a Civil Engineer, Paulo has worked in various capacities, including Patrimony Manager and Senior Project Coordinator, at Olicargo and Metalmasa, among others. Paulo holds multiple degrees in Civil Engineering from ISPV - EST and a background in building construction and technical works from Bernardino Machado High School.
