Rick Brace is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive experience in investment strategy and market research. Currently serving as Director at AEW Capital Management since 2007, Rick oversees research and strategic activities for the firm's real estate opportunity fund series, providing critical analysis on investment impacts from economic trends. Previously, Rick held leadership roles at CBRE/Torto Wheaton Research as SVP and Director of Investment Strategy, where responsibilities included business development and strategic advice on market performance. Earlier career highlights include serving as Research Director at Amresco Advisors Inc. and as AVP in research at AEW Capital Management from 1993 to 1996. Rick earned a BS in Economics from Dartmouth College between 1984 and 1988.
