Oscar Monje is a Research Scientist currently employed at Aetos Systems, Inc. since April 2023, with a prior tenure at Amentum from March 2018 to May 2023. Previous roles include serving as a Scientist at Ascentech Enterprises Inc. from March 2011 to March 2018, where contributions included characterizing sorbents and catalysts for human life support systems and participating in the Advanced Plant Habitat science team at Kennedy Space Center. Oscar Monje also worked at Dynamac Corporation from November 1998 to March 2011, focusing on advanced life support, plant physiology, and chemistry, and was involved in the PESTO experiment aboard the ISS. Oscar Monje earned both a Master's and a PhD in Plant Science and Plant Physiology from Utah State University.
