Lou Kauffman serves as the Head of Commercial Operations at Aetion since June 2022, previously holding the position of Senior Director of Business Operations. Prior experience includes a role as Strategy and Consulting Senior Manager at Accenture from March 2016 to June 2022, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at Eli Lilly and Company from August 2012 to January 2016, where significant cost savings and productivity improvements were achieved. Lou Kauffman also worked as a Senior Scientist in Technical Services and Manufacturing Sciences at Eli Lilly, providing support for large-scale fermentation processes and laboratory development. Earlier in the career, Lou Kauffman was a Graduate Research Assistant at Northwestern University, focusing on cellular mechanisms in pancreatic and pituitary function. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northwestern University and Indiana University.
