Joy Liu currently serves as the Corporate Director and US Controller at AESC since March 2023. Prior to this role, Joy Liu was with Tesla from October 2016 to March 2023, holding positions as Senior Revenue Manager and Technical Accounting Lead, where responsibilities included managing global energy revenue, setting up revenue accounting policies under ASC 606 and ASC 842, and overseeing SEC filings. Joy Liu also worked as Revenue and Reporting Manager at Ruckus Wireless and as Senior SEC Reporting Manager at Audience, Inc., gaining extensive experience in revenue recognition and SEC reporting. Earlier in the career, Joy Liu served as an Audit Manager at KPMG, progressing from an audit associate. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, a BA in Accounting from Renmin University of China, and a Master in Accounting from Washington State University.
