Olivier Marquette possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as President of AES Bulgaria as well as President of AES India, AES Jordan, and AES Netherlands since August 2006. Olivier has played a pivotal role in driving platform expansion projects, including the construction of a 114 MW expansion at the Los Mina power plant. Prior roles at AES include Vice President of Business Development, where Olivier focused on greenfield projects and M&A strategies. As a leader, Olivier is also the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria and Co-Chairman of the National Energy Chamber, advocating for modernization and sustainability in the Bulgarian electricity sector. Additionally, Olivier has past experience as a Plant Manager at EDF, overseeing a 250 MW natural gas power plant, and has an educational background that includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and Mines Paris.
