Josh Wells is an experienced professional in the fields of product marketing and unmanned systems, currently serving as the Director of Product Marketing for AeroVironment since August 2022. Additionally, Josh is a Board Member of the Maritime Unmanned Systems Innovation Advisory Board at NATO and has a robust entrepreneurial background as the Co-Founder and CEO of Planck Aerosystems, which specialized in drone autonomy solutions before its acquisition by AeroVironment. Previous roles include membership on the Board of Directors for AUVSI and The Maritime Alliance, as well as extensive service in the US Navy, where Josh held various positions including Exercise Designer, Helicopter Instructor Pilot, and Maintenance Officer. Josh holds a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master's degree in Product Development Engineering from the University of Southern California.
