Robert Bartonicek is a seasoned professional in logistics and purchasing, currently serving as Vice President of Purchasing & Logistics at AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE a.s. since October 2018. Bartonicek previously held key positions in logistics planning and material order management at Škoda Auto from 2016 to 2018, and at SAIC Volkswagen between 2014 and 2016. A long tenure at Škoda Auto from 2003 to 2014 included roles such as Head of Logistic Planning for car production and Manager of Car Distribution. Robert Bartonicek earned a degree in Transport and Handling Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague from 1996 to 2003, following an education at Gymnázium Jiřího z Poděbrad.
