Doug Rose is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. As the President and founder of Aero Gear since February 1982, Doug has successfully transformed the company from a local job shop to a globally recognized provider of complex aerospace geared products, growing the workforce to 150 employees and establishing a reputation for responsiveness and lean practices. Prior to Aero Gear, Doug held positions in sales at Windsor Manufacturing, where account development included key clients such as Avco Lycoming and Sikorsky Aircraft, and in production control at Windsor Airmotive, focusing on production planning and shipment goals. Earlier experience includes a role as a Manufacturing Engineer at Hayward Tyler Pump. Doug holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
