Ross Melchin is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in production engineering within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Production Engineer at Aera Energy LLC since April 2019, Ross has successfully led a team focused on alternative testing methods for injector casing integrity, resulting in significant cost savings for the company. Prior to this, Ross held a contract position as a Senior Production Engineer at Longshore Resources Ltd., where optimization of base production and artificial lift design were key responsibilities. At Cenovus Energy, Ross contributed to CO2 flooding projects and enhanced oil production through innovative initiatives. Earlier roles at Encana Corporation involved planning and executing well servicing programs and managing pipeline tie-in projects. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
