Lynne Embleton serves as the CEO of Aer Lingus since April 2021 and is a member of the Management Committee at International Airlines Group (IAG). Lynne held the position of Non-Executive Director at Ofgem from July 2018 to December 2023 and previously at British Airways, where responsibilities included Managing Director Gatwick and Director of Strategy, overseeing a wide array of strategic functions. Lynne’s career spans various roles at British Airways, including Head of Strategy and Planning and Head of Network Planning. Additionally, Lynne was the CEO of IAG Cargo from April 2017 to April 2021 and held the role of Non-Executive Director at British Midland Airways Ltd. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham, an MBA from Lancaster University, and an MSc in Management Science/Operational Research from the University of Strathclyde.
