Joe Baylon has been working in the engineering field since 2012. Joe began their career as a Hardware Design Intern at LGS Innovations, where they were responsible for the schematic level design of a system-in-package mm-wave transmitter. Joe gained experienced working with PCB design tools, analyzing component requirements, and coordinating suppliers for prototyping. Joe then went on to become a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington State University, where their research activities focused on design of RF and mm-wave integrated circuits in deeply-scaled CMOS technologies. In 2018, they joined Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) as a Hardware Engineer. Currently, they are a Sr. Design Engineer at Aeonsemi.
Joe Baylon earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cooper Union in 2012, after studying there from 2008 to 2012. Joe then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering at Washington State University, which they completed in 2018.
