Meagan Evans is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Principal Project Manager for Victorian Connections at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since 2012, Meagan facilitates the integration of large-scale renewable energy into the Victorian electricity transmission network. Prior roles include Acting Manager of Project Portfolio and Principal Project Manager for Connection Delivery at the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem), where responsibilities involved managing a competitive tender process for offshore transmission assets. Earlier experience includes serving as a Town Planner at Contour Consultants and as a Policy and Projects Officer at the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE). Meagan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Town Planning with a focus on Urban Design from RMIT University.
