Lydia I. Beebe was appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors in 2016. Ms. Beebe serves as the Company’s Chairman of the Governance, Compensation, and Nominating Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee.

Her years of experience with one of the world’s leading energy companies, Chevron Corporation, provide valuable experience to the board. Originally starting as a staff attorney in 1997, Ms. Beebe went on to serve as Chief Governance Officer and Corporate Secretary for eight years, as well as spending four years as a Washington D.C. Representative representing Chevron with the Executive Branch and the House of Representatives in 1981. She would later become the first female corporate officer in Chevron’s 127-year history when she was promoted to Corporate Secretary and an officer to the company in 1995. She held this position until 2007 when she also became the Chief Governance Officer and eventually retired in 2015.

Ms. Beebe holds a B. S. in Journalism from the University of Kansas, a J.D. from the University of Kansas, as well as an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University. Ms. Beebe previously served on the boards of directors of HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc., the Council of Institutional Investors, Presidio Trust, University of Delaware’s Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance, and California Fair Employment & Housing Commission. She currently serves on the boards of Stanford University’s Rock Center for Corporate Governance, Kansas City Southern, and EQT Corp.
