Laia Silvestre Galotto is a Diplomada meteoróloga at AEMET - Agencia Estatal de Meteorología since January 2023. Previously, Laia held multiple positions at SDG Group from January 2017 to April 2022, including BI Senior Consultant, where expertise involved project management, technological architecture design, business insights, team supervision, and project leadership, with a specialization in the pharmaceutical industry. Laia's early experience includes internships at Geofísica Mar y Tierra, S.A., where responsibilities included performing granulometric analyses and report reviews, and at Instituto Geográfico Nacional, focused on seismic hazard assessment using ArcGIS and Matlab. Laia presented research on the hemispheric dichotomy of Earth's inner core at the 9th Hispano-Portuguese Assembly of Geodesy and Geophysics. Laia holds a Master's in Geophysics and a Bachelor's in Applied Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
