Wayne Penello is the current advisor at AEGIS Hedging. Prior to this, they were the CEO and President of Risked Revenue Energy Associates from January 2001 to December 2020. Before that, they were the VP of Torch Energy Advisors Inc. from January 1995 to December 2000. Wayne Penello started their career as a financial trader at Vitol from January 1993 to December 1995. Wayne then moved to the New York Mercantile Exchange and became the Ring Chairman of the Options and Settlement Committee from January 1980 to December 1990.

Wayne Penello has a Masters in Marine Environmental Sciences from Stony Brook University.
