Erik Hokanson is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within prominent architectural firms. As Principal and Design Director at AE7 since February 2014, Erik is also a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to this, Erik served as Principal and Practice Leader at Stantec from December 2008 to February 2014 and held the position of Principal at Pfaffmann + Associates from September 1997 to November 2008. Erik also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University from 2002 to 2008. Earlier in Erik's career, work as an Architect at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson took place from 1992 to 1997. Erik holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University, earned between 1987 and 1992.
