Kaniya Harris is an accomplished professional currently serving as a Patient Care Coordinator at DuPont Clinic and a member of the Young Feminist National Committee for the National Organization for Women. Kaniya also holds the position of Board Member and Development & Communications Co-Chair at NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland and co-leads the Youth Abortion Support Collective at Advocates for Youth. Previous roles include various leadership positions at American University, including Orientation Leader and Director of Students for Change. Kaniya gained experience as an Events Associate at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and participated in the Student Polling Advisory Group at the AU Sine Institute of Policy & Politics. Educational qualifications include an Online Master of Legal Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Justice and Law from American University. Kaniya is a graduate of Ballard High School, class of 2020.
