Jeff Poste is a highly experienced professional with a diverse range of work experience. Jeff started their career in 1993 as the Manager of Technology and Client Support at Norcen Energy, where they were responsible for managing all computing systems infrastructure. Jeff then worked as an Independent Consultant at JPlus Systems, where they developed business plans and acted as a project manager and developer.

In 1999, Jeff joined Prefersoft Inc as the Chief Architect, where they designed and managed the development of eControl Orders, a Java-based B2B application. Jeff also developed XML/XSL software for data integration.

Jeff then worked at Hitachi Data Systems as a Technical Architect, designing and implementing highly available storage area network (SAN) and network attached storage (NAS) subsystems.

In 2002, they became the Chief Technology Officer at MoveitOnline Inc, overseeing the development, operational support, and software test plans for their hosted product.

From 2004 to 2007, Jeff worked at Accenture as an IT Transformation Specialist, where they managed the implementation of the Microsoft Enterprise Project Management Server 2007 at TELUS Communications. Jeff also developed business process management (BPM) strategy frameworks and associated standards.

In 2007, Jeff joined Western Principles as the Chief Architect and Lead Technology Consultant, where they specialized in SharePoint and Project Server infrastructure and application architecture. Jeff also provided support for SharePoint 2010 implementation.

Jeff then worked at JPlus Systems as an MS Project Server & SharePoint Consultant, providing consulting services in those areas.

In 2012, Jeff joined DevFacto as a Microsoft Project Server Senior Consultant, specializing in Microsoft Project Server.

Most recently, they have been working at Advisicon as a Senior Project & Portfolio Management Technology Specialist, focusing on project and portfolio management technology. Jeff also served as the Director of Technical Services and was responsible for project server and SharePoint architecture, deployment, design, and support.

Jeff Poste, MCTS, has a history of education and certifications in various fields. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Science (Applied) from the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada in the years 1972-1976. Additionally, they obtained a Certification in Communications & Electronics Engineering from the Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics Engineering in the year 1976-1977.

In the field of Computer Science, Jeff earned a BSc degree from the University of Calgary from 1979-1981. Jeff also pursued Graduate Courses in Geophysics and Seismology at the University of Calgary in the year 1982.

Furthermore, Jeff has obtained several certifications. Jeff became a Microsoft Certified Professional in March 2015. Jeff also holds certifications in Microsoft Project and SharePoint, including Exam 339: Managing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016, (74-343) Managing Projects with Microsoft Project 2013, (74-344) Managing Project and Portfolios with Project Server 2013, Managing Projects and Portfolios with Project Server 2013, and Managing Projects with Microsoft Project 2013/2016. Additionally, they hold MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) certifications in Microsoft Project Server 2010, Configuration, Microsoft Project 2010, Managing Projects, and Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuration.

Lastly, Jeff obtained a Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems in the year 2001.
