Javier Placencio is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in front-end web application development and native app maintenance for iOS and Android. Since September 2019, Javier has been employed at Advinans, following roles at HiQ from September 2016 to August 2019 and Yanzi Networks from November 2014 to August 2016. Additionally, Javier served as an IT Consultant at Sustainable Innovation in October 2014, integrating university thesis work involving EXI compression over XMPP. Early in the career, Javier worked as a Software Developer at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María from January 2013 to April 2014, contributing to the development of an Intelligent Pasture Management System for a milking company in Chile. Javier holds a degree in Ingenieria Civil Telematica from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria, completed in 2014, emphasizing the implementation of EXI compression methods over XMPP networks.
