Roger Halbheer is the Chief Security Advisor at Microsoft, overseeing security for Switzerland, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, and Central and Eastern Europe since January 2018, while also serving as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and engaging with media on security issues. In addition, Roger is a Visiting Lecturer at ETH Zürich and a member of the Cybersecurity Advisory Board at the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences. Roger manages the back office for Bike Activities GmbH, has served as an Advisory Board Member at Opportunity Zürich, and was previously involved with digitalswitzerland's Cybersecurity Committee. Earlier career experiences include roles as Managing Director at Accenture, Head of Group Security at Swisscom, and Worldwide Chief Security Advisor at Microsoft Corporation. Roger holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from ETH Zürich and is a certified CISSP professional.
