Erasmo Cortez has extensive experience in administrative roles within healthcare organizations. Currently serving as the Administrative Director of Grants at Adventist Health since May 2021, Cortez previously held the position of Director at the Adventist Health White Memorial Charitable Foundation from September 2014 to May 2021. Prior to that, Cortez was the Administrator of Special Projects and Grants Projects Manager at White Memorial Medical Center from 1998 to 2014, and served as the Senior Business Officer at USC-Keck School of Medicine from 1996 to 1998. Early career experience includes the role of Contracts and Grants Coordinator for the Family Medicine Residency Program at White Memorial Medical Center from 1991 to 1996. Erasmo Cortez holds a Doctor of Law degree from The Santa Barbara and Ventura Colleges of Law, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from UC Santa Barbara, and an Associate of Arts degree in Bilingual Cross-Cultural Studies from Ventura Community College.
