Barbara Boulon has a diverse work experience in the fields of finance, mergers and acquisitions, business development and licensing, corporate strategy, private equity, and healthcare. Barbara is currently working as the Director of Finance M&A/BD&L at ADVANZ PHARMA since October 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Director of Finance M&A/BD&L at UCB from June 2020 to October 2021. Before joining UCB, Barbara worked at Ipsen where they served as a Manager in M&A/BD&L from April 2018 to June 2020 and as a Senior Analyst in Corporate Strategy & Transformation from July 2015 to April 2018. Barbara also gained experience in private equity as an Analyst at Bpifrance from December 2014 to June 2015. Additionally, Barbara worked as a Strategy Consultant at Publicis Health from July 2014 to December 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at Hôpital sainte anne from February 2014 to July 2014 and at Hospital Albert Bousquet from July 2013 to December 2013.

Barbara Boulon obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree in Pharmacology - Toxicology - Biology - Organic Chemistry from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in the years 2009 to 2014. In addition, they pursued a Master of Science in Management degree specializing in Grande Ecole at emlyon business school from 2012 to 2015. Furthermore, Barbara completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Corporate Finance at East China Normal University in 2014.
