Dan Petersen, MBA, CF APMP has an extensive work experience spanning several roles and industries. Dan started their career in 1985 as a Combat Engineer in the US Army, where they served for over 22 years.
After leaving the military, Petersen founded D. Petersen & Associates, LLC, a small business that provided consulting services to small businesses across the United States. During this time, they focused on government contract proposal support, training analysis, business process improvement, and business plan development.
Petersen then joined A-T Solutions, where they held various roles, including Deputy Program Manager for the Asymmetric Integration Training Program (AITP). Prior to their current role, Petersen was a Senior Capture Manager at DAWSON, where they focused on customer relations, sales leads, and contract proposal development.
Currently, Petersen works as the Business Unit Director at Advanced Technology Leaders, Inc. In this position, they oversee a diverse portfolio of government contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms, budget control, and milestone schedules.

Dan Petersen, MBA, CF APMP has a diverse education history. In 2004-2007, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management from American Military University. In 2011, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Walden University. The same year, they completed a Shipley Proposal Development course at Shipley Associates.
