Rex Olson is a seasoned video production specialist with extensive experience in technical direction, camera operation, and broadcast engineering. Currently at Advanced Systems Group, LLC since February 2022, Rex provides production support for various clients, including Google and Spotify, focusing on live broadcasts and recorded projects. Prior to this role, Rex held several key positions at NewTek from September 2007 to August 2018, including Vice President of Marketing for Emerging Markets, where Rex oversaw marketing strategies for the NDI product line, and Vice President of Media Production, managing a team for global marketing efforts. Rex's career also includes leadership roles in content development at NewTek and as Producer/Director at Desktop Images, managing digital content creation for the TriCaster product line. Earlier, Rex owned and operated RAVE Video Production Facilities, offering comprehensive video services. Rex holds a certificate in Recording Arts Technology from UCLA Extension and has studied at Los Angeles Valley College.
