Strahinja Petrovic has held a variety of roles in the engineering and technology industry since 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Rubber/Belt Worker at Belle Banne Conveyor Services and a Casual Asset Maintainer 1 at EnergyAustralia. In 2017, they were an Engineering Vacation Student at AGL Energy. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Monash Connected Autonomous Vehicle, first as a Lead Software Engineer and then as a Software Developer - Localisation and Mapping. Since 2019, they have been employed at AGERRIS, first as a Field DevOps and GNC Team Lead and then as a Robotic Software Engineer. Strahinja is currently an Embedded Software Engineer at Advanced Navigation.

Strahinja Petrovic completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) with Honours in Mechatronics Engineering from Monash University between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad between 2009 and 2014. Strahinja also holds a Computer Electronics Technician degree from Srednja Tehnicka Skola "Nikola Tesla" Sremska Mitrovica, obtained between 2005 and 2009. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Microsoft for DEV274x: Introduction to Python: Fundamentals and DEV330x: Introduction to Python: Creating Scalable, Robust, Interactive Code in December 2018, and from Dassault Systèmes for Certified Associate - Mechanical Design (CSWA) in May 2017.
