Uro L. is a Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities, focusing on alternative data alpha since July 2022. Previous roles include serving as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, where research on revenue-maximizing auctions was accepted in AISTATS 2022. Uro co-led the Smith Investment Fund as Co-President, concentrating on systematic strategy research, and completed software engineering internships at Facebook, contributing to projects in civic integrity and question answering. Uro's experience also includes a quantitative research internship at Millennium Management LLC, specializing in systematic VIX and options strategies. Uro graduated from the University of Maryland in 2022 after attending Montgomery Blair High School's Math, Science, Computer Science Magnet program.
