Mai (Melody) Yang is a dedicated engineering professional currently serving as a Silicon Design and Verification Engineer Intern at AMD since May 2024. As an Electrical Team Member at MAC Formula Electric, Mai has collaborated on designing and building an electric car for competitions since September 2022. Additionally, Mai contributes to the McMaster Engineering Society as an Editorial Committee Team Member, focusing on editing and revising publications. Previous experience includes a Product Development Internship at Stellantis, where Mai utilized MATLAB and Simulink to optimize controller parameters for electric vehicle thermal systems. Mai is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechatronics and Biomedical Engineering at McMaster University, expected to graduate in 2026.
