Dawei Du is a seasoned professional in computer science with extensive experience in compiler development and software engineering. Currently serving as a Sr Member of Technical Staff in AI Compiler at AMD since March 2024, Dawei previously held positions at Celestial AI as Staff Engineer and Compiler Engineer, and at PicoAI as Staff Engineer for AI Compiler. Dawei's career also includes roles at Black Sesame Technologies as Staff Software Engineer, and at Automated Precision Inc. where responsibilities included developing laser tracker technologies. Earlier experience includes software engineering at ClearEdge3D, Inc., and serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina. Dawei holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from George Mason University and a Master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
