Paul Hiester is a Senior Engineer at Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. since November 2020, bringing extensive experience from previous positions including Developer/Data Analyst at Savvy Aviator, where predictive maintenance models were developed using SQL, Python, and machine learning for general aviation clients. At Pratt & Whitney, Paul held multiple roles, including Staff Material Review Engineer, responsible for hardware dispositions valued over $2 million per month, and Staff Engineer focused on advanced programs, optimizing system-level metrics through the analysis of large data sets. Additionally, Paul has a strong background in Six Sigma methodologies and thermal analysis, leading initiatives that integrated probabilistic design methodologies and resulted in several design patents. Paul began the engineering career at GE Power & Water as an Associate Heat Transfer Design Engineer, contributing to the optimization of turbine rotor thermal models. Paul holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
