Avi Hayun is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Adtran since January 2023, Avi has held the same title at ADVA since August 2015, where previous roles included Senior Manager R&D Hardware and Senior Hardware Design Engineer. With a solid background beginning in 1993 at the Israel Defence Forces as a Practical Engineer, Avi's career encompasses positions at notable companies such as AudioCodes, Axonlink Networks, ECI Telecom, and ELTA. Avi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer & Electronics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a Prac. Engineer degree in Telecommunication from Braude Academic College.
