Sathish Sanjeevi, Ph.D., is a research engineer at CPFD Software since February 2022, specializing in the development of the Barracuda CPFD solver using C++ and CUDA/GPU, along with creating a Python test loop suite for automated testing. Prior experience includes a role as a researcher at the National Energy Technology Laboratory, where development of the open-source multiphase flow solver MFiX was undertaken using Fortran and MPI. As a doctoral researcher at Delft University of Technology from August 2014 to December 2018, significant contributions were made to high-performance simulations of fluid flows, utilizing the lattice Boltzmann method, culminating in the award of 12 million CPU-hours on the Cartesius supercomputer. Earlier career experience includes serving as a senior engineer at Larsen & Toubro from November 2009 to August 2011. Sathish earned a Ph.D. in Computational Science from Delft University of Technology, a master’s degree in Simulation Science from RWTH Aachen University, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita University, India.
