Jamie Lawrence serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Private Sector at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since June 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Corporate Social Responsibility Lead for IBM on the West Coast from April 2018 to June 2021 and serving as Policy Director to Dr. Jill Biden at The White House from May 2013 to January 2017. Additional experience encompasses positions as Federal Government Affairs & Policy Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb and as Director of Development and Programming at the Democratic Leadership Council. Jamie Lawrence holds a Master of Science in Global Politics from The London School of Economics and a dual B.S. in Public Relations and Marketing Management from Syracuse University.
