Rahoof Khaleel Rahman has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. RAHOOF started their career as an Articled Clerk at Varma & Varma in 1999. RAHOOF then worked as an Assistant Manager in Internal Audit & MIS Reporting at Kalliyath Group from 2002 to 2004. Following that, they served as an Audit Executive at KPMG from 2004 to 2005, where they worked on audits for various clients. Rahoof then joined Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor in Assurance & Audit Services from 2005 to 2007.
In 2008, Rahoof worked as a SOX Controller at ABB, where they were responsible for SAP implementation. RAHOOF then returned to Ernst & Young as an Assistant Manager in Audit & Assurance Services from 2008 to 2010, where they conducted audits for clients such as BP Middle East and Petrofac Limited.
Rahoof joined BP Middle East in 2010 as a Management Accountant, reporting directly to the CFO-Middle East R&M Operations. RAHOOF managed financial operations for BP Middle East's Downstream operations in various territories. In 2012, Rahoof started working at MUSC Limited as the Group Chief Accountant, responsible for driving the company's annual budget cycle and consolidation.
Also in 2012, Rahoof joined ADNOC Group as a Finance Controller, reporting directly to the CFO. RAHOOF handled group and statutory reporting per IFRS until 2018. In 2019, Rahoof was promoted to Finance Manager at ADNOC Group, a role they held until February 2021.
Currently, Rahoof is serving as a Vice President of Finance at ADNOC Group. In this position, they are second to the CFO and oversees all finance and accounting department activities. This includes managing finance managers and staff, handling IPOs/listings and reporting on the ADX, and managing budgets of over USD 500M each for OPEX and CAPEX annually.
Rahoof Khaleel Rahman has a diverse education history. RAHOOF completed an Online Certificate Course in ESG & Sustainable Financial Strategies at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2023. RAHOOF also participated in the CFO Program at London Business School from 2022 to 2023, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, they completed a program in Leading the ADNOC Way at London Business School in 2022, focusing on Business Administration and Management. In 2015, Rahman obtained the ACMA, CGMA certification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. RAHOOF also earned the ACA degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2004. Rahman holds a B.Com degree in Finance & Accounting from the University of Calicut, which they obtained in 2000. RAHOOF completed their Grade 12 education in Finance & Accounting from the same university in 1997. Rahman's education journey began at Ansar English School, where they completed Grade 10, specializing in Maths, Science, and Humanities, from 1988 to 1994.
