Giorgio Geraci has extensive work experience in various roles within the oil and gas industry. Giorgio most recently served as the Head of Commissioning and Operations Readiness & Assurance at ADNOC Group since October 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Operations Readiness & Assurance from December 2020 to September 2021 at the same company.
Before joining ADNOC Group, Giorgio worked at North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC N.V.) as a Project Lead from June 2019 to December 2020. Giorgio also served as a Completion & Turnover Coordinator from October 2016 to May 2019.
In addition, Giorgio has worked at Shell, where they held the role of Operations Readiness & Assurance Engineer from September 2014 to September 2016. Giorgio also gained experience as a Flow Assurance Engineer from November 2007 to January 2012.
Prior to their industry experience, Giorgio worked as a Start-Up Engineer at Agip KCO from February 2012 to August 2014. Giorgio also served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Tulsa from August 2006 to October 2007.
Giorgio Geraci obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Palermo from 1995 to 2001. Giorgio later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Multiphase Flow at the University of Nottingham from 2001 to 2006.
