Jaco van der Merwe serves as the Chief Technology Officer at admyt since July 2018, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles, including Senior Development Engineer at Protoclea Advanced Image Engineering, where responsibilities included leading research and software development in Machine Learning, Video Analytics, and Image Processing Technologies, with notable projects like the Nobilis platform. Earlier, Jaco worked as a Contractor Software Engineer at Talknet Mobile Solutions, developing several applications, including an SMS Messenger application and a Server Application Monitor. Jaco holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, awarded cum laude, along with both a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with an IT endorsement, all from the University of Johannesburg.
