Alan Patefield-Smith is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in various senior roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at Admiral Group Plc since September 2019, Alan has previously held key positions at esteemed companies including Oracle, where roles included Key Account Director for RBS and CIO Advisory for Cloud Transformation, and Barclays as CIO of Central Functions Technology. Prior experience also includes several leadership roles at Bupa and GE Capital, where Alan focused on enterprise architecture and technology strategy. Alan’s career began at Capgemini Consulting and UCAS, culminating in a strong foundation in eCommerce and web development. Alan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies from London Metropolitan University.
