Wim Bardoel has a solid work experience spanning several companies and roles. Wim started their career at Philips Research in 1984 as a researcher and worked there until 1998. During this time, they focused on research projects. In 1998, they joined JDS Uniphase and worked as a senior test engineer and team leader until 2003. Their responsibilities included product development, test development for production, and leading a production engineering group. Afterward, they worked at Adimec as a senior electrical engineer since 2004. In this role, they designed electronics and firmware for cameras, conducted software development for product verification, and worked with CCD imagers and CMOS imagers.

Wim Bardoel pursued their undergraduate education in electrical engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology from 1984 to 1988. During this period, they obtained their Ing degree.
