Djordy van Riel

Creative Lead at Adidas

Djordy van Riel has extensive experience in the creative industry. Djordy started their career at G-Star RAW in 2007 as a Visual Merchandiser, where they provided direction to the Retail Design team and executed retail marketing activations. In 2012, they became a Senior Art Director, responsible for all photographic output online and offline. From 2017 to 2019, Djordy served as the Creative Manager at G-Star RAW, leading and collaborating with the team to drive projects and bring business strategy to creative execution. In 2019, they joined SECRID as a Creative Manager, where they set up the creative structure and was responsible for all creative output. Currently, Djordy is the Creative Lead at adidas, overseeing the creation of elevated content for their premium collections and setting the Styling Direction for their three pillars.

Djordy van Riel attended Mediacollege Amsterdam from 1997 to 2001 and then went on to study Design Management at Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 2001 to 2007.
