Aleksei Opokin is an experienced sourcing and purchasing professional with a strong background in the automotive industry and a focus on indirect purchasing management. Currently serving as a Sourcing Manager at ADEO since October 2022, Aleksei previously held multiple senior purchasing roles within Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi from September 2014 to September 2022, where responsibilities included managing aftersales and indirect purchasing for various Alliance brands in Russia and overseeing the creation of purchasing departments to achieve significant savings and process improvements. Aleksei has also worked at Faurecia as a Regional Commodity Manager and at General Motors as a Commodity Buyer, alongside earlier experience at RUSAL and CRC Ltd. Aleksei holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Economy from Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics.
