Adam Brancher is an experienced marine industry professional currently serving as the Head of Blue Economy at ADEC Innovations since March 2023. In addition to this role, Adam is a Board Member of the Tasmanian Rugby Union and the Managing Director of The Southern Ocean Carbon Company since July 2020, where efforts focus on marine-based carbon reduction solutions. Adam has also been the Managing Director of Kedge Pty Ltd since March 2016, overseeing a growing marine survey company. Prior roles include Manager of the Vessel Safety Unit at the Australian Maritime Safety Authority and Principal Marine Surveyor at DPTI SA. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Solent University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Marine Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
